Application for Space

Dear Home Based Vendors,

On Saturday, August 17, 2024 and Sunday, August 18, 2024 we will be offering Home Based Non-Service Industry Vendors (such as Tastefully Simple, Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware, etc.) a chance to sell their items that does not fit in the Craft Show category and usually only take orders for items rather than sell them on the spot.  The Craft Show will be on Sunday but our Home-Based Non-Service Industry Vendors will be able to sell on Saturday and/or Sunday from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  The event is organized by the Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee and will be held behind Town Center located at 375 West Briarcliff Road (three blocks west of IL Route 53).

Major entertainment will be featured on the main stage during those times.  However, if you choose to keep your booth open after those times, due to the sun setting, we cannot guarantee the amount of lighting available to view your items.

Adding to the festivities will be amusement area and charity raffle (bingo) tent, a craft show, activities for children, classic car show  and many other activities from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm throughout the weekend. Our food vendors, beer stand and water and soda stand will be open from noon to 10 pm Saturday and till 9pm on Sunday.

Each space will be 10’ X 10’ and the fee will be $50.00 per space for one day and $75 for both days.  If you wish shade or cover from the elements, you will need to provide your own tent or overhead cover.

Due to high electric needs and demands for this event.  Power is only available for cellphone credit cards and where needed for selling items.  NO Personal fans or music is allowed.

Vendors are only allowed to sell their items in their own 10x10 area and are not allowed to walk around the grounds to sell or solicit the public outside of their booth area.

Online applications must be submitted on or before Thursday, August 15, 2024.  After that time, you must contact info@bbcca.org to see if we can fit you in and you must drop off your check at 375 W. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook, IL.

Please be sure to include a copy of your email application along with your check.

MUST BRING YOUR OWN 100 FOOT EXTENSION CORD

Vendor spaces are available for Saturday or Sunday, however, you may also select both days. Fee for Saturday or Sunday Only is $50, Fee for both Saturday and Sunday is $75. If you wish two spaces the price will be doubled and you must contact us to verify space is available.  This is for HOME BASED VENDORS, which is Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Avon and those types of home based business.

Liability Waiver for Vendors

I,

hereby releases and relieves the Village of Bolingbrook of any liability or responsibility for any damage done to my canopy, equipment or property installed, placed or used on Village streets, sidewalks, parking lots or grassy areas in conjunction with the Bolingbrook Jubilee 2024.  I further indemnify and hold harmless the Village of Bolingbrook and the Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee, from and against any claim, liability, cost and/or expense for any damage done to or by my equipment or property occurring during the Bolingbrook Jubilee 2024 on August 16, 17 & 18, 2024.

Force Majeure:Each Party shall be excused from the event of its obligations under this Agreement to the extent that such event is prevented by force majeure (defined herein) and the event Party promptly provides notice of such prevention to the other Party. For purposes of this Agreement, "force majeure" shall include conditions beyond the control of the Parties, including an act of God, acts of terrorism, voluntary or involuntary compliance with any regulation, law or order of any government, war, acts of war (whether war be declared or not), labor strike or lock-out, civil commotion, epidemic, failure or default of public utilities or common carriers, destruction of production facilities or materials by fire, earthquake, storm or like catastrophe.

The Vendor listed on the “Vendor Application for Space” form, hereby agrees to participate in the Bolingbrook Jubilee celebration and will abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Jubilee Committee.

Unless you are notified, please consider yourself registered and accepted, a map with your space number and day of instructions will be Emailed on or before August 18th to those applications received by that date.

INSURANCE: The Village of Bolingbrook, Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee and the Bolingbrook Civic and Cultural Affairs Commission must be named as an additional insured on the Vendor’s Liability, Products and Completed Operations Insurance policy. This insurance shall not be less than $500,000.00. Contact your insurance agent to obtain this certificate and most agents send these at no cost. A Certificate of Insurance shall be in the hands of the Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee by Thursday, August 15, 2024 by 5pm with full payment, for contract to be accepted by the Jubilee Committee.
