Application for Space

Dear Vendors,

On Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18, 2024, we will be offering non-food vendors an opportunity to sell at the Jubilee.

Major entertainment will be featured on the main stage each night. Adding to the festivities will be a raffle bingo tent, a craft show, activities for children, classic car show and many other activities.

Each space will be 10’ X 10’ with a fee of $100 for the two days. If you wish to only set up on one day, a fee of $75 for the one day will be accepted (please specify Saturday or Sunday on application and will be subject to space availability).

Due to high electric needs and demands for this event. Power is only available for cellphone credit cards and where needed for selling items. NO Personal fans or music is allowed.

This event is organized by the Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee and will be held behind Town Center located at 375 West Briarcliff Road (three blocks west of IL Route 53).

Please be sure to include your certificate of insurance with your payment (you can obtain this from your insurance agent).

All applications, payments, and certificate of insurance must be received on or before Thursday, August 15, 2024.

Space availability is limited for non-profit organizations. Please send your application in as soon as possible as they are taken on a first come basis. We try our best to fit everyone in, but we are limited on space for non-profit organizations. Thank you for your understanding.

Vendor spaces (10X10) are available for Saturday or Sunday, however, you may also select both days. Fee for Saturday or Sunday Only is $75, Fee for both Saturday and Sunday is $100. If you wish two spaces (20wideX10deep) the price will be doubled and we will contact you back within 48 hours to verify space is available.

hereby releases and relieves the Village of Bolingbrook of any liability or responsibility for any damage done to my canopy, equipment or property installed, placed or used on Village streets, sidewalks, parking lots or grassy areas in conjunction with the Bolingbrook Jubilee 2024. I further indemnify and hold harmless the Village of Bolingbrook and the Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee, from and against any claim, liability, cost and/or expense for any damage done to or by my equipment or property occurring during the Bolingbrook Jubilee 2024 on August 16, 17 & 18, 2024.

Force Majeure:Each Party shall be excused from the event of its obligations under this Agreement to the extent that such event is prevented by force majeure (defined herein) and the event Party promptly provides notice of such prevention to the other Party. For purposes of this Agreement, "force majeure" shall include conditions beyond the control of the Parties, including an act of God, acts of terrorism, voluntary or involuntary compliance with any regulation, law or order of any government, war, acts of war (whether war be declared or not), labor strike or lock-out, civil commotion, epidemic, failure or default of public utilities or common carriers, destruction of production facilities or materials by fire, earthquake, storm or like catastrophe.

As an independent contractor, I understand I am responsible for any tax liability and insurance I may wish, including public liability.

I have read and understand the foregoing liability waiver and agree to be bound by its terms.

The Vendor listed on the “Vendor Application for Space” form, hereby agrees to participate in the Bolingbrook Jubilee celebration and will abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Jubilee Committee.

INSURANCE: The Village of Bolingbrook, Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee and the Bolingbrook Civic and Cultural Affairs Commission must be named as an additional insured on the Vendor’s Liability, Products and Completed Operations Insurance policy. This insurance shall not be less than $500,000.00. Contact your insurance agent to obtain this certificate and most agents send these at no cost. A Certificate of Insurance shall be in the hands of the Bolingbrook Jubilee Committee by Thursday, August 15, 2024 by 5pm with full payment, for contract to be accepted by the Jubilee Committee.
